Story

Nestled in the heart of Tahoe Vista, Yaya’s by the Lake is more than just a vacation rental. It’s a beloved family retreat, thoughtfully opened to guests.

We’re Maryanne and Dan, parents of three energetic boys and co-owners of this home with Maryanne’s mom, lovingly known as Yaya, the world’s best grandma and the inspiration behind the name Yaya’s by the Lake.

​

This home has been in our family for years, and we’ve poured a lot of love into making it warm, relaxed, and thoughtfully curated — a place we’re proud to share.

​

Our home is listed on Airbnb, VRBO, Marriott’s Homes & Villas collection, and Google Vacation Rentals. Direct booking is also available through Air Concierge, our trusted property management partner. They help ensure a seamless, hotel-quality experience with the personal touches of home.

Whether you're here for a golf getaway, snowy ski days, lakefront sunsets, or a peaceful escape, we hope you feel right at home and make lasting memories. That’s exactly what Yaya had in mind.

We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, but this one felt like home. The house is beautifully maintained, full of thoughtful touches, and gave our family space to relax and reconnect. We’re already planning our return.
